We now have 60 walks in the Hertfordshire countryside for you to enjoy, all featuring local pubs. All are free to download and use for non-commercial purposes. Some, such as Walk 6: The Sculpture Trail, are short and ideal for children and the elderly. Others, such as Walk 22: The North Mymms Way are half- to full-day walks. Why not work your way through the index on the right (not mobile).

For smartphone users, the easiest way to see the list of all the walks on the site is to scroll down this page until you reach the bottom. At that point you will see a 'View web version' link. Click it and you will see all the walks in the right hand column. Pick the walk you want and you will be taken to it on the mobile version.

Many of our walks can be completed in a couple of hours, and range from 3-5 miles, others will need half a day, and cover 7-10 miles. Most are circular routes, because we prefer those, but there are a few linear.

Please check our Copyright page to find out more about the content on the site. We  also have a Privacy page which sets out how Google uses cookies on this site. And if you want to know more about the site and us, please check our About page, too.

If you want to get in touch, there is a contact form to the right of every page. And if you want to comment on the walks, there is a comment box below every walk (comments are moderated, so there will be a delay in seeing your comments go live). You can also rate the walks using the five rating boxes which you can see below. (Those boxes apply to the walks and not this introduction to them).

We hope you enjoy our walks as much as we have enjoyed creating them, testing them, and revisiting them many times since.
